  • Templefield

    David Fisher

Although believing that his layout ideas would get no further than sketched plans drawn amongst notes taken at meetings, David Fisher got things underway after being encouraged to do something constructive to distract from the pressures of work. Templefield is a tale with a happy ending and we are very pleased to bring it to the pages of MRJ.

    2mm/2mm FS

The stunning 2mm finescale layout 'Copenhagen Fields' will need no introduction to readers of this magazine. "It has been my pleasure to be associated with the realisation of this layout since the 1980s", says Tom Knapp, although mostly from afar (san Francisco). Over the years, I have been able to contribute several structures (including a model of Keen House). My latest effort has been the Paget Christian Centre located on Randall's Road.

    Jas Millham

Searchlight signals were installed initially by the 1930s, the colour of the lens being changed mechanically. Although rarely modelled, Jas Millham decided to include them at Abbey Street, his S scale layout that was featured in MRJ No. 260. Here he describes how he built them, and introduces a new topic to the pages of the MRJ
